Diversity in Finance – JMWL x FISA

FISA and JMWL were proud to present their collaborative event: Diversity in Finance! This was Concordia’s first ever speaker panel addressing female leadership in the financial industry, and aimed to start a powerful conversation about the importance of embracing and encouraging a strong female presence in the financial sector, where women hold only 19% of senior level positions.

On October 13th, five top-notch woman leaders working in the Financial Industry joined us to discuss how to achieve an established sense of self, as well as how to construct stronger platforms for lifelong women empowerment in all branches of finance. We invited all finance students, both male and female, to join us in an evening of discussions on unleashing the potential of women leaders within the financial community, as well as topics that are career and industry-related.

There was an interactive Q&A session at the end of the panel, followed by a networking cocktail where attendees enjoyed wine and hors d’oeuvres with our enthusiastic and motivated speakers.
